BDE Learning curriculum course

This course emphasizes the Ontario driving culture and supports this approach with real-life Ontario pictures of its various driving environments (see our rural roadways and urban intersection activities). Course knowledge is built on the Ontario BDE Curriculum Standards using the rules of the road, current driving practices, content presented in the Ontario Driver’s Handbook, and references from the Ontario Highway Traffic Act. The graphics used in each presentation slide are unique, colourful, animated, interactive and even employ sound effects to stimulate student learning. There are learner-centred activities, within each Module, designed to challenge students to listen, recall, locate, select, predict, sort, decide and prioritize driving rules, skills, and responsibilities. The HomeLinks activities associated with each Module use games, current driving issues, technology articles and videos to review the topic as a way of reinforcing and improving your retention of the Module’s key points or skills.
